It works using the /proc/acpi/ibm/video interface, if you want a higher
refresh rate on the second display, use the "Clone" and "CloneRefresh"
options in xorg.conf. See 'man i810' for details. There are scripts out
there to hook this to the Fn+F7 ACPI hotkey--see ThinkWiki.
