[ltp] Anyone else seen "T30" memory-slot failure in T2x or other models?

If the chip gets hot enough to melt the plastic, it would be *way* too 
hot for your knees! I'm guessing that the folded metal is by way of a 
crude spring. If you do use metal, make sure to cover it in something 
insulating. Personally, I'd go with a piece of foam rubber or 
(non-conducting) sponge.
