Hello,
I added some notes on how I got 3D acceleration to work correctly. I was=20
puzzled that it didn't work initially and I had to disable the Composite=20
extension...
Maybe anyone with more knowledge about the fglrx driver wants to add or=20
change some notes.
Actually I have to say that I do not know yet, what OpenGLOverlay actually=
=20
is for.=20
Unfortunately the opensource driver does not support the Radeon 9600=20
(RV350) yet.
http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Fglrx (marked some of my edits with my=20
nickname Helios42)
Well enough trying around for now. The ATI driver situation on Linux=20
definately sucks. I hope that Software Suspend 2 will still work.
At least the fglrx stuff from 8.28.8-4 debian packages seems to work on my=
=20
2.6.19 kernel.
Linux version 2.6.19.1-ck2-tp42-sws2-2.2.9 (root@shambala) (gcc-Version=20
4.1.2 20061028 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-19)) #1 PREEMPT Fri Dec 15=20

Regards,
