i understand how to fix this, in either the acpi lid.sh or screenblank
files, and i think i could figure out which display is meant to be
active with some simple parsing of Xorg.log, but i'm not sure
whether it's possible to blank the internal screen without
blanking the external video, as "xset dpms force" seems to do.
i'd be content just to turn off the backlight, even if the
display stays "on" otherwise. anyone know if there's a tool
(similar to radeontool, i suppose) that will do this on an X41?
on the other hand, if it's just a bug that will probably be fixed
in the X server soon, maybe i won't bother. :-)
