Hmm...good point, though there are concerns with that...

...i see that this would get me around my wake up issue. But i do not
really like the idea of having another always running machine in the
flat. On the other hand it would incredibly increase flexibility and
response time. Have to think about it.

Hmm...parallel is only on the UltraBase and I'm not sure if i'll include
it in the final case mod.

That would seem to be an option. Has the advantage of not requiring
another wire, as well.
