Yes it looks very nice BUT:-

1) There is no TrackPoint. I really like it, besides I do like having an 
indication that I have a feminine gendered thing on my lap. :-)

2) The power supply cord is still on the side, designed specially to pull 
the lappie off its lap if somebody / child / dog / whatever trips over the 
cord. Yes I know they talk about magnetic latches but there is still a 
recess for the plug. I'd like to check that out before I shelled out 
dough.

3) The lid is not recessed & doesn't seat over the keyboard. i.e. It's not 
going to survive a fall very well. 

4) It's not ebony black. Those Apple jobs start looking distinctly scruffy 
after just a few months of serious use.

5) I couldn't see a ThinkLight. I was plunged into total darkness just 
before giving a talk one evening, the ThinkLight saved my sanity.

6) Apple keyboards are irredeemably hopeless when compared to the existing 
ThinkPad ones.

OTOH: It has the redeeming feature of a fair price for what you get.
