performance. The X60 seems to be around the size of the x41 machines but 
performance CPU-wize is more along the lines af my current P4 2 GHz Dell 
laptop, something the x41 seemed not to be.

I had found the wiki page, but was not aware that SATA support might be 
an issue. I pretty much expect the wireless card to be a problem, but I 
have an old Orinoco Silver PCMCIA card that I plan to use for the time 
being :-).
