[ltp] TP 600 dies of neglect and loneliness

  Way back when I got my A20m ,  I put a new install of SimplyMepis on the old 
600, thinking I'd get around to putting it on eBay sometime.  I left it 
sitting around for about 10 months after that.   The other day I tried to 
start it up and it is DEAD.  Not just "won't boot" but it won't even turn on 
when I plug it in.  
  How did a working computer turn into a doorstop just from being unused?  Is 
there any hope for it?
