[ltp] New HDD: hdaps support?

I bought a bigger and faster hard disk for my ThinkPad, but now hdaps is 
behaving differently with it. When it's triggered, this shows up in the 
kernel log:

idedisk_issue_protect_fn(): unload support NOT reported by drive!..
ide_protect_queue(): head park not requested, used standby!..

What exactly does this mean and is it any better/worse than having unload/head 
park support, as I apparently did with my previous disk? Here is the output
