not here. using dapper since beta. and installed fresh when it was
final on my t41p. everything runs perfect, including hibernation and
suspend out of the box.
ramdom freezes could point to memory issues (defect?). but if that
issues hits alot of thinkpads, maybe it could be determined to ati issues?
when using the free xorg ati driver with my firegl, cpu gets really when
using opengl applications. but on the other hand, the heat problem of
some thinkpads are known, and mine is right now in repair because of
"fan error" and not booting anymore ;)
i just put the hd in an a21m thinkpad and besides xorg.conf all is like
before, except hibernation and sleep do not work with this machine.
