hi folks,

i have a T43p with an Intel 2915ABG wireless card:

ipw2200: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200/2915 Network Driver, git-1.0.8
ipw2200: Copyright(c) 2003-2005 Intel Corporation
ipw2200: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection

i've recently been having an odd problem where the free memory in 'free
-m' goes down forever until i reboot--that's the buffers/cache memory,
so it's not just being used by disk cache. i had no idea what might be
causing this, until i noticed that while using a wired connection (with
the onboard Broadcom card), the problem didn't appear. so this leads me
to think that the ipw driver has some kind of memory leak. has anyone
noticed anything like this, or know what else might be wrong?

(i'm using Fedora Core 5 with the current kernel:
  Linux rose.local 2.6.16-1.2122_FC5 #1 Sun May 21 15:01:01 EDT 2006
  i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
 =20
the exact machine model is 2687-D5U.)
