I've always seen Linux as kind of an effort to get our OS to work on
their machines, since it's probably safe to say that most computers
today are designed with Windows in mind.  I think this kind of news
should just serve as reaffirmation of the good work a bunch of hackers
have done to make Linux work in a Windows world.  I mean, for being a
computer designed for use with Windows, my Lenovo works pretty damn
well running Linux.
