Well, no. I tried it with a 2.6.14 kernel and was _not_ successfull. But
this was on an iMac. On the other hand, if I understood this right, you
don't need x11-drm anymore because the drivers are in the kernel.

Hence I tried to use a mach64 card on an iMac, I asked some similar
questions on gentoo-ppc-user where I got the answer that you should use
modular-X because the necessary patches are merged in there.
