There are no Thinkpads with 1152x864 resolution - the resolution is made of=
=20
actual physical dots (transistors) in the LCD, and they are the size they a=
re=20
and you can't make it not be so.  You are trying to force reality to be=20
different than it is, and you will not succeed.

A 1400x1050 pixel display at 14.1" diagonal is 124dpi, whether you like it =
or=20
not.  Set it to that in X (DisplaySize 287 215) , then set your fonts to yo=
ur=20
liking based on that.

An LCD is not a CRT, and doesn't resize like a CRT.  Give it up and accept =
you=20
have a 124dpi LCD.  You are wasting time and money struggling against=20
reality.
