radeon_drv.so has nothing to do with DRM. The relevant file for your
T41p may be r200_dri.so or r300_dri.so, as well as the kernel modules
drm.ko and radeon.ko.

My desktop computer with a Radeon 9600 refuses to suspend when I use
fglrx with hardware GL.
