I've toyed with the idea of using the 380XD as a remote-controlled MP3
jukebox - some of the Hitachi drives are really quiet and the 380XD
doesn't get hot enough with light usage to run its fan constantly.

The only thing that gets me here is that the sound quality of the
380XD's outputs isn't that great.
