Hello,

I am using the 2.6.16 kernel and want to get suspend to ram/hdd on my Think=
pad=20
X41 working.
My kernel configuration looks like this:

       [*] ACPI Support =
                          =20
      <*> AC Adapter =
                           =20
      <*> Battery =
                         =20
      <*> Button =
                         =20
      <*> Video =
                         =20
      <*> Fan =
                         =20
      <*> Processor =
                         =20
      <*> Thermal Zone =
                         =20
<*> IBM ThinkPad Laptop Extras =20

When I do "echo mem > /sys/power/state" my laptop does nothing.
I was advised to use the hibernate script to get suspend to ram/hdd working=
,=20
but then I need to patch my kernel, etc.

Any ideas why it is not working with the default kernel?

Regards
Jan
