I think this is pretty risky -- I believe the T43 was the line where
the BIOS locked the machine to only work with specific HD models
(supposedly due to performance or compatibility concerns with the IDE
to SATA bridge?).  You may have limited success if you don't get an
upgrade drive directly from Lenovo.
