WARNING WARNING WARNING...
I just tried this on my T42p, and it appeared to work great.
The drive was cleanly removed, ejected, and was re-detected upon
reinsert of the Ultrabay.
Here's where the problem started...
No more partition table. DOH! Nothing I had could recognize
the drive's partition, because the primary _and_ backup partition
table entries on the drive were gone (set to flag 0x0000).
Luckily I remembered the exact partitioning scheme I used on
the drive, so I was able to recreate it with fdisk and get my data off
before any more weirdness happened to it. I would hate to have lost 2
weeks of data sitting on 80gb of drive since my last backup interval.
Just be careful, and back up first, before you play with it.
