I'd say very good, if compared to my results :-)

This is what I get:
thinkpad:/usr/local/doc/muttng# hdparm -Tt /dev/hda
/dev/hda:
Timing cached reads: 1628 MB in 2.00 seconds = 812.40 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 80 MB in 3.05 seconds = 26.25 MB/sec
I get this result repeatedly, there is no other disc I/O during the
test.
thinkpad:/usr/local/doc/muttng# hdparm -i /dev/hda

This is a rather old R40 (about 2 1/2 years) running Debian Sid with
kernel 2.6.17-rc3, so I guess I'll just have to live with these results?
