On May 20 + 21 (Sat + Sun), there will be a fair for used (+ new) 
computers + parts in Berlin, the "Combaer":  http://www.combaer.de/
(from the Web page, I just note they also exist in Hannover, 
Frankfurt/M, and Westfalen - did not know that).

At least in Berlin, there are several exhibitors offering laptops, 
probably also parts - so if you are not too far away, it might be worth 
a visit:
Sat May 20 + Sun May 21, 10:00 - 18:00,

This is a repeating event which I have visited previously.
IMO, you have quite some chances to get either a new board or a 
replacement machine there, and you can touch and try them before buying.


There is also a huge bookshop with reduced prices (previous edition ?).
