[ltp] Still problems with hot t42p

I've upgraded to SuSE-10.1 and have problems with my notebook getting 
hot if the system is docked.

It seems that the fan dosn't work if my Thinkpad is docked into docking 
station.

cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THM0/cooling_mode
<setting not supported>
cooling mode:   passive

Is this controlled by BIOS?

Not docked the fan is spinning immediatly if temperature is higher than 
60 degrees centigrade.

Problem is: under high load  my notebook is getting to hot and shuts 
down (93 degrees!).

So no real work is possible!
