Maybe take the caps off that "ALL."  You can have a low priority CPU 
bound task that will chew up all available CPU cycles (say, GRID 
computing) that you are only running to take advantage of idle cycles, 
but don't want to reduce your battery life (or put up with extra fan 
noise) to accommodate it.
