[ltp] T40 with Random freeze issues

All,

I have two T40 (2373-14U) that both seem to freeze from time to time.

Updating BIOS (CD/DVD FW and HDD FW) does not seem to change frequency 
of lockups.

I see there are replacement motherboards out there, but not sure how far 
I can go!

As these are Wireless/Upgradeable.. its got an antenna....but no BlueTooth.

Can I put a motherboard from a T42 in the case and expect any 
fit-issues? Gigabit would be nice!

Based on all the accessories i have ...  am having mixed emotions about 
snapping up a Dell AM2.

I have refilled my share of BIC lighters in my day!
