hmmm... you may be missing a devel package.  also, make sure you have:
autoconf 2.57 or newer
automake 1.9 or newer
m4 1.4 or newer
libtool 1.5 or newer
pkg-config 0.18.1 or newer

You'll also need the drm and mesa-dri devel packages.
