Yes, and I am using fglrx. Just to underline, this is suspend to ram power
draw, not regular usage :)
An obvious (?) place to check is to see which state your CPU is in. With
uhci_hcd loaded, I had a few issues there, but with it removed in sus2ram,
all is well.
I'd be happy to share my configs, if that is of any interest.

Not really. With my battery 255mW is typically "one week without power
while suspended." Longer off-the-power-grid times require sus2disk :)
The power drain is measured through tp_smapi (in its simplest form, read
the battery capacity, take the time and suspend. Upon wakeup, read the
battery capacity, take the time and calculate the result).
