Amazing that this hasnt got bigger attention. This looks like the exact
thing that happened to my z60m, but I've never seen any warnings about
this. It would've been great to test this further if this mode is
resettable via clearing BIOS/changing m/b jumper settings etc, but my
thinkpad is now in the hands of Lenovo.
I'm adding a comment to the bug.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'll probably go fglrx now :)
