Thanks to all that reported so far. Some very interesting patterns are
showing up, and they have already been used to improve the ibm-acpi patches.
A lot of ThinkPads that do *not* have the bug will not be penalized by the
bug workaround anymore :-)
I still need more reports, though. Also, due to the patterns that were
observed, I humbly ask that even people that got a 07 reading in the ecdump
also report back. Sorry about the inconvenience.
So, please, if you did the test and got 0x07, do send me a report even if
the initial call for the test asked you not to do it.
When I have enough data to completely narrow down the bug, I will send a
report to the mailing list, and also update ThinkWiki.org with the results.
