[ltp] C3 and USB

Hi,

with kernel 2.6.19-rc3 Linux is now able to switch to C3 power state when USB 
modules are loaded. On my T40p this seems to work, but only when switching to 
text console. When switching back to X, C2 is the only power state used by 
the kernel. Does X prevent lower power states than C2?
