I've seen this before when people do not switch the default channel of
their WAP devices as well.=20
When 10 of your neighbors all put their WAPs online and they have a
default channel of 6 or 11, you'll see all kinds of fun things happen as
channels collide and retries slow your performance down significantly.=20
