Hi everybody,
I currently trying to get my built in SD card reader working on my X41
with fedora 5 system (kernel 2.6.17) but so far without success, perhaps
someone on this list have any idea on how to proceed?
The modules seems to load fine (mmc_block, wbsd, sdhci, mmc_core) and
the card shows up as /dev/mmcblk0 but when I try to partition the card
(which is a 2GB kingston 50X(?)) with fdisk the following comes up:
"Warning: invalid flag 0x0000 of partition table 4 will be corrected by
w(rite)"
I don't know if this is a part of the problem but when I create a new
partition it shows up in fdisk as:
/dev/mmcblk0p1 1 30552 1955312 83 Linux
But it does not show up in /dev/ after (w)rite:
# ls /dev/mmcblk0*
/dev/mmcblk0
#
If I use an USB card reader everything works OK so I assume that the
actual memory card should be fine.
Any idea of what could be the problem is highly appreciated.
