I am not sure if you need to download anything. Even if you do, it should be 
via the OpenSUSE package manager, via YAST. I have not used OpenSUSE for a 
long time but you should also be able to reconfigure to use the radeon driver 
via YAST. I think there is a utility called sax or sax2.
