I will second this experience. Moved up from T40 to T60p. I did have
problems with suspend under Ubuntu 6.10 on the T60p (it was rather new
at the time, many issues, ATI driver, SATA driver, etc), however, those
problems have been largely fixed in 7.04 (except that I still have to
manually eject crypto disks on USB sticks before I suspend, something
with the dm device gets wedged).
