$ glxgears
4873 frames in 5.0 seconds = 974.570 FPS
4881 frames in 5.0 seconds = 976.112 FPS
4873 frames in 5.0 seconds = 974.567 FPS
4881 frames in 5.0 seconds = 976.197 FPS
4871 frames in 5.0 seconds = 974.017 FPS
