Hi,
I have a thinkpad T43 with 2.6.22-gentoo-r2, in-kernel alsa modules. The
laptop works fine and I have the sound working. However, it seems that
alsa prevents my laptop from suspending to memory. I.e. if the alsa
modules are loaded, the laptop hangs during suspend to memory (during the
suspending stage).
The "solution" thus far is to unload the alsa modules before suspending.
Unfortunately this kills all the programs playing something back (e.g.
firefox with a video.google.com video, mplayer, etc.) and that is very
annoying.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Any tips/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.
