[ltp] Losing trackpoint after suspend

So it's been fine for a while, and then did it again yesterday.
Suspended in the dock, pulled the laptop, started work on the train and
no trackpoint but trackpad working fine. Cat of /dev/input/mouse* showed
no output using trackpoint (but when trackpoint is working I do get the
gobbledegook).
I'm assuming suspend unloads something that's not being reloaded on
unsuspend - but only some of the time.
Cheers
