[ltp] battery suggestion

Hi to list,
i purchased an ibm thinkpad x60 i installed ubuntu on it and every thing 
work fine. I have only a question the battery duration is about 2 hours 
but in ibm specs is 7 hours how i can improved the battery duration? I 
can use the kernel patch ibm-acpi? or my model is not supported? Some 
one has an thinkpad x60 and can tell me how i do?
