hi,
T61, 2 months old, kernel 2.6.24-rc5 with thinkpad-acpi 0.18-20071203
and newest BIOS from 2007/12/06.
$ dmesg
...
thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad ACPI Extras v0.18-20071203
thinkpad_acpi: http://ibm-acpi.sf.net/
thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad BIOS 7LETA7WW (2.07 ), EC 7KHT24WW-1.08
thinkpad_acpi: Lenovo ThinkPad T61
thinkpad_acpi: radio switch found; radios are enabled
thinkpad_acpi: standard ACPI backlight interface available, not loading native one...
input: ThinkPad Extra Buttons as /class/input/input11
...
No module options for thinkpad-acpi, video is loaded.
The brightness keys FN+END or FN+POS1 seem to work in theory, but I only
get a little flicker and nothing changes.
$ acpi_listen
video LCD0 00000087 00000000
ibm/hotkey HKEY 00000080 00005010
Seems both events are triggered and confuse each other.
BTW, I have no idea what software shows me the little brightness bar in
GNOME if I press FN+END.
BTW2: The mute key triggers nothing.
BTW3: gnome-power-manager reports two batteries.
Regards, Kai
