iwl4965 is still in deveolpment, due to hit mainline in 2.6.24. you can
get the latest git from intelwireless.org or track the wireless-2.6
kernel. I wouldnt give up on this chip yet.. There are patches for it
just about everyday, and I know of several people who have had this card
working for months.
