BTW, I know that few people have the Z61p. As far as I can tell it's
pretty similar to the T61p, if not very close to being the same.
I really wanted a T series to replace my 1600x1200 T42p, but lenovo
didn't have a single T with 1600x1200 or better at the time, and had to
switch to a Z61p for eventually getting 1920x1200.
I love the screen, and I far as I can tell the laptop has all the same
features as the 1920x1200 T61p, a similar weight, but a different
layout, except that I get ATI for 1920x1200 instead of nvidia (and I've
heard that nvidia is worse for power saving on linux)

I'm not too sure if the T61p has better power saving than the Z61p,
although my Z61p seems to get 5H+ on windows, which I'm sure isn't using
all the power saving tricks as linux on a noticks kernel with drivers
unloaded, is.
And for now, I'm not sure I can reach 4H on linux yet :(

Either way, I'm happy to compare/swap notes with T60/61(p) users too,
except for the nvidia part of course, which I can't help with.
