[ltp] problems with disk-protect-patch for 2.6.20

Hi,

I have patched my kernel (2.6.20.1 | ThinkPad R60 | debian etch) with
this disk-protect-patch:

It works, but with every unload of the disk, the smart value 192
Power-Off_Retract_Count increases by ca. 80.000.
Is this behaviour normal? Can someone confirm it?
