I bought a 200GB portable disk drive and while it works fine on USB 1.1
and 2
it does not work on my A31P built-in firewire port.
I would like to make it run on firewire because it is slooooooooooow
on the usb 1 port
The following are the error messages.
They are virtually the same under both edgy and fedora 6.
[17179577.260000] ieee1394: Initialized config rom entry `ip1394'

Any ideas?
