i'm reasonably happy with the X41 i picked up recently. i still haven't
gotten the video switching to work completely reliably, so that i can
cycle through screen/external/both when i'm on the dock, but since i've
seen all three modes work at one time or other, i assume i'll get it
someday.
they're certainly getting cheaper fast -- i paid $1400 (including dock)
using a combination of the lenovo external (for the dock) and employee (for
the notebook) websites, and i just got a sale email from buy.com which
has that combo for $969, albeit with only 512MB instead of 1G.
