Hi,

as you suggested i tested the input events with the input-utils. And they
produced some events. (and they are not working in my X but thats an other
problem).

if i enable all keys:

brightness works
volume keys not
thinkvantage works
multimedia keys, play/pause, forward, not
(i hadn't time to test the others)
