[ltp] Fedora 7 Upgrade Issue

I just upgraded to F7 from FC6 using the DVD and Anaconda. Now when I log
in, Gnome tells me its keyboard map isn't the same as X's, and then locks
up. I can do a very few things, like click the X, and it asks if I want to
Force Quit. If I do, the dialog comes right back, but it's empty (no text or
controls), and no menus ever appear for Gnome.

I can switch to a console and do various things, but I'm not sure how to
proceed to fix it.

I have a ThinkPad T60 (ATI X1400 video, 1400x1050 display)

Any tips?
