I'd like to use hdaps on my X60 with Fedora 7. I can compile tp_smapi
without any problems (using HDAPS=3D1) and install it. But I can't get
hdapsd to run. It starts and then dies because /sys/block/sda/queue
doesn't have a file "protect". =20
It wasn't clear to me from the thinkwiki instructions whether I needed
to rebuild the kernel with the hdaps_protect patch. But I can't find a
patch for the 2.6.21 kernel. What should I be looking for?
Thanks,
George
