A nice laptop, I´ve got a T60, to. Just be sure to get the bigger
battery (or two).

I drive grml. Grab the CD, install it on HD and it works. Was really
easy and usefull.

My T60 was/is the betatest T60 for grml :-)
But I use the Intel ipw3945 wlan card.
So grml runs flawless with no problem on my T60 (and should do on every
other T60).
