What temperature are you actually getting? Are you worried about the
temperature because it is too hot for your lap, or because the machine
is in danger of damage? If the former, you may find that a table is the
best solution, since 65 degrees is not unreasonable for the CPU, but
even 40 degrees is not pleasant for the knees!
Also, what are you loading it with? I usually find my T60 only runs at
full cpu for a short period at a time. Most processes aren't CPU-bound,
so this could perhaps indicate a different problem (eg running graphics
intense stuff with the vesa driver, or having DMA problems).
