[ltp] stop_on_shutdown only for "real" harddrives?

Hi *,

I have a 2.6.20.10 kernel with the shut_on_shutdown patch (see [1])
which is generally a really good idea, but it has one big problem - it
tries to stop every sd* device :(
When I plug-off my usb-stick I get the following:

usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 6
Stopping disk sdb:
FAILED
  status = 0, message = 00, host = 1, driver = 00

I don't think this makes any demage to the flash-memory, but I find it
really annoying to see "FAILED" somewhere on my screen ;)
Is there any chance to get rid of this warning/error?

Regards
Evgeni
