For some reason or other I am having problems with the sound on my new T60
1953 (last of the regular 14").
Occasionally the volume controls won't work or the sound won't come out. For
some reason
an alsaconf will generally fix this, maybe it's just stopping and restarting
it that does the trick though.
I'm running a Debian 4.0 stable with the default kernel (2.6.18) . Should I
go with a newer kernel from testing?
